Incubate Fund Inc., a network partner of UPDATE EARTH, is one of Japan's largest venture capital (VC) firms specializing in early-stage investment and development, with a total assets under management exceeding 78 billion yen.

Among its various programs, the flagship event is the bootcamp-style acceleration program "Incubate Camp." This two-day residential event pairs seed and early-stage entrepreneurs with general partner (GP) level venture capitalists, who are responsible for developing investment strategies, identifying, analyzing, and executing investment opportunities. Together, they accelerate the business development process.

From the applicants, 16 entrepreneurs are selected to participate in the program, where they engage in deep discussions with 16 venture capitalists, refining their business plans and seeking funding opportunities. The 17th edition of Incubate Camp was held in October 2024, and since its first edition in 2010, over 250 entrepreneurs have participated. Following the 11th to 15th sessions, the total amount of funding raised by participants surpassed 9 billion yen.
