The "Innovation" program, a network partner of UPDATE EARTH, is hosting the Generation Award, an initiative to discover and celebrate extraordinary talents and ideas from across Japan. With the application deadline fast approaching on November 30, we eagerly await submissions of groundbreaking ideas and technologies that have the potential to astonish the world.

The Generation Award, supported by over 200 partner organizations, is a platform to honor and promote innovation. This year, applications are open across a broad spectrum, from unique and novel ideas to ongoing projects, research, or products—there are no limits on genre.

Nominated entries will be selected through evaluations conducted by partner organizations, and winners will receive awards along with unique prizes provided by these companies. In the previous round, 122 entries were successfully nominated.

Nominated proposals also gain opportunities to collaborate with partner organizations to bring their ideas to fruition. Additionally, nominees are granted seed privileges for the UPDATE EARTH Competition, a business plan contest organized by UPDATE EARTH.
