Chiba City, a network partner of UPDATE EARTH, has introduced the "Chiba City Acceleration Program (C-CAP)," a short-term intensive support initiative designed to foster the growth of startup companies.

The program provides five months of individualized mentoring and consulting, along with problem-solving workshops led by industry experts. At the conclusion of the program, a Demo Day is held, where selected startups present their achievements to an audience of businesses, mentors, and supporters from both within and outside the city.

The fifth cohort, running from October 2024 to March 2025, includes several innovative companies. Among them, Spiker Inc., working on AI for fetal heart rate and uterine contraction data analysis during childbirth, has been selected for the IPO Challenge Course. Meanwhile, Genome Clinic Inc., Seeds Unite Inc., SEGNOS Inc., and BillOpt Inc. are receiving support in the Business Growth Course.

At the March Demo Day, participating startups will showcase their refined business models, aiming to secure partnerships with major corporations, funding from financial institutions and venture capitalists, and media exposure to further drive their success.
