The Osaka Industrial Bureau, a network partner of UPDATE EARTH, has been running the "HeCNOS AWARD" program to support startups focused on developing and implementing products and services in the fields of carbon neutrality and healthcare. The award events took place in September 2023 and July 2024.

The healthcare category targets startups offering products and services related to health, nursing care, medical care, and prevention using the latest technologies. In the two rounds of the award, winners included a startup providing optimized meals based on individual body and food data analysis, a company developing AI to systematize the knowledge and techniques of top-level trainers, and a health tech venture offering solutions to eradicate strokes.

The healthcare award-winning companies will showcase their innovative technologies and products at the "Smart Healthcare Town Project," which will be held from June 24 to 30 at the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion "Reborn Challenge" at the local pavilion of the Osaka-Kansai Expo. The companies will present their future technologies and products.
